Rhema Projects Inaugurates APCOT to Accelerate Lagos State’s Key Infrastructure Projects
In a bold move to ensure the timely completion of critical infrastructural developments in Lagos State, Rhema Projects proudly announces the official inauguration of the **Accelerated Project Completion Team (APCOT)**. This specialized committee is tasked with fast-tracking key projects commissioned by Lagos State through the Ministry of Agriculture. Speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman of Origin Tech Group/ Rhema Projects Prince Samuel J. Samuel emphasised the importance of this initiative
“APCOT is not just a team; it is the driving force behind ensuring that Lagos remains at the forefront of infrastructural development. By focusing on delivering projects on time, with precision and excellence, we are positioning Lagos State for sustained economic growth.” He also stated that there will be more APCOT Teams for different projects pan Nigeria. He emphasised that these projects must be delivered in December 2024 hence the need for the accelerated team.
The highlighted projects under APCOT’s purview include the Logistics Hub Project (LHP), the Lagos Truck Terminal (LTT), and the Mid-Level Market (MLM) initiative. These projects form the backbone of the state’s efforts to boost its logistics capacity and ensure food security. The success of these ventures will transform Lagos into a more efficient and self-reliant commercial hub, benefiting both the economy and residents of the state.
A key highlight of the inauguration event was a panel session featuring representatives from the Design Team, Construction Team, and the Commercial Team—the three pillars that uphold the entire project. Each team discussed their roles in ensuring that every stage of the project meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency as well as challenges and issues affecting them.
The Design Team emphasized the importance of innovation and sustainability in the planning stages, while the Construction Team highlighted their scientific approach to executing each phase with precision. The Commercial Team, in turn, focused on the economic impact and viability of these projects, underscoring the importance of delivering value to stakeholders and the community at large.
